Suche in den „Sterbebücher von Auschwitz”
(Bitte beachten Sie bei der Suche nach Geburtsorten, dass diese in eingedeutscher Schreibweise in die „Sterbebücher“ eingetragen wurden. Zum Beispiel „Warschau“ für Warszawa, „Prag“ für Praha, „Mailand“ für Milano, „Preschau“ für Prešov.
Darüber hinaus erhielten einige Städte und Dörfer auch neue Namen, die nur während der deutschen Besatzung verwendet wurden. Zum Beispiel „Gotenhafen“ für Gdynia, „Litzmannstadt“ für Łódź; oder historisch ältere deutsche Namen, z. B. „Preßburg“ für Bratislava oder „Hindenburg“ für Zabrze.
